Back in March we shared the first personalised version of the NowScreen case. Since then we’ve moved on to a laser engraved option after some help from a local (Lewes) firm.
Ordering in batches it’s the cheapest (under £1 each) and, we think, most effective way to personalise/brand the Raspberry Pi computers our player is currently built on. It also allows us to include our network client brand (Eastbourne Borough Council and Visit Eastbourne in this instance) on the case.
3D printing proved too costly at this stage, although we learned a lot about the process thanks to some experts at Brighton University.
